Amer Nabil is an ANCC board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides psychotherapy and medication management for clients age 12 to 60 years old. He is also the psychiatric nurse practitioner at Prospect Manchester Hospital inpatient psychiatric unit working with clients with acute mental illness. Amer is an active public speaker in the community passionate about spreading the message of peace and tolerance. Over the past year, Amer has been working in conjunction with renowned psychiatrist and life coach, Dr. Lawrence J. Peacock with an aim to specialize on trauma focused psychotherapy.
Education and Past Experience:
Amer completed his bachelor's in communication at Marist College. He then pursued to complete his bachelor's in nursing at Quinnipiac University. Amer worked as an inpatient psychiatric nurse at Prospect Manchester Hospital for almost 5 years following his graduation from Quinnipiac University. He graduated from University of Saint Joseph with a master's in nursing concentrating as a family psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
